The Wedding Secrets - Coworking Space
This upcoming project is a unique blend of a co-working space for people from the wedding industry, as well as a one stop shop for any wedding requirements. The idea is to bring in traditional elements inspired by a big fat Indian wedding and showcasing them in muted tones of understated luxury to allow the vibrant products to sing through the space. The central hexagonal shelf display was based on the concept of a "mandap" which is central to Hindu weddings while the "jaali"(lattice screen) and arch pattern portrays muslim influences.
The client's primary requirement is for the space to allow the client to feel right at home while discussing their wedding matters. To enable this we added features of traditional Indian homes such as a pseudo staircase on the wall with an ornate vintage Rajasthani door, making it the perfect spot for their photography display.
The clothes rack is made to imitate a typical room divider translated into a more modernized form. The contemporary furniture pieces compliment the traditional aspects of the space ,preventing it from becoming too classical in nature.
The space required us to bring various aspect of a wedding together under one roof, allowing the space to become the definition and identity of the brand.
