Hotel Royal Garden Room - 07 Series
Located in the heart of "Juhu", a beachfront locality in Mumbai, the client had his heart set on transforming this business hotel into a boutique hotel. Embracing this stunning locality and all its quirks, local materials such as jute rope and cane were used with highlighting elements like the surf boards, rikshaw ,vintage compass and sail boat miniatures as well as capturing Juhu and its essence in frames. The room came together as a locally bohemian room that transported you to a tropical paradise amidst the bustling city of Mumbai.

Rope suspension creates a sleek, ingenious installation that is also functional and caters to the basic requirements of a hotel room.
Greenery was paramount in bringing this tropical paradise together. This was achieved with the minimal ceramic wall art balanced by a lush plant set in cane basket in the corner.
The wardrobe sported a harringbone pattern and was bejewelled with a locally handcrafted wooden handle.
Bringing the local artisans to light, this ottoman was handcrafted in cane. The throw cushions add an eccentric edge to it. The boat and rikshaw miniatures with the vintage compass encased in a painted frame further adds to the locally bohemian vibe of the room.
Maintaining the uncoventional harmony this room boasts, the head-rest was designed to be comfortable, fluffy cushions hung from a solid wooden rod, providing them stability.
The off centre surboard flowing into quaint frames flaunting the eccentricities local to the area creates a story that expresses the emotion that is Juhu.
