Sky View - Kamala Mills
This project demanded a fusion of spaces of vastly different personalities . One being a Hookah lounge while the other needed to cater to family oriented clientele. The hookah lounge was designed to give off a dramatic modern-opulent vibe with the combination of ornate vintage mirrors and streamlined variants of bohemian style furniture. The family zone of the restaurant played on lighter airy tones . The harmonizing factors for the two zones were the highlighting elements finished in french gold , bohemian style inspired furniture ,lush greens throughout the space as well as a continued flooring pattern across the two zones. The harmonies allowed the seamless zonal fusion as well made them easily transitional from a day time to a low-key nightlife space.

(ongoing project)
Salmon grouting for the tiles on the bar
Hand-carved wooden mirrors helps visually enlarge the VIP lounge
Varied seating arrangements and dramatic backdrops help break the monotone in the long narrow area.
Arched window with trellis details adds a slight vintage touch to the restaurant area, adding to the harmony between the two zones.
A direct passage to the hookah lounge is created in order to avoid constant disruptions in the restaurant zone. A giant magnifying glass is placed in the center of the partition ,opposite the main entrance to create an intriguing perspective for the restaurant area.
